Civil Design Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Civil Design Engineer to contribute to their diverse portfolio of projects in Bradford . This role focuses on the technical design aspects of civil engineering works, including site development, transportation, and infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed civil engineering design calculations and produce accurate technical drawings.
• Develop site plans, grading designs, utility layouts, and stormwater management systems.
• Prepare project specifications, reports, and tender documentation for civil works.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant national and local planning policies and building codes.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines.
• Conduct site investigations and support construction administration as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in civil site design and infrastructure development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of hydrology, hydraulics, and soil mechanics principles.
• Knowledge of UK planning and regulatory processes is advantageous.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working in a hybrid team setting.
