Civil Design Engineer

About the Role

You will be responsible for the detailed design and development of various civil engineering projects, including site development, drainage, and road infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil design drawings and specifications for infrastructure projects.
• Conduct site analysis, including grading, drainage, and utility design.
• Ensure designs comply with local and national building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate design efforts with other engineering disciplines, architects, and surveyors.
• Perform quantity take-offs and assist in the preparation of project cost estimates.
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) during the construction phase.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in civil design engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Solid understanding of drainage design, stormwater management, and site grading principles.
• Familiarity with relevant UK engineering standards and design guidelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
