Our client is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to contribute to significant Infrastructure Development projects in Bristol . Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop plans for infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, utilities, and public spaces.
- Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for proposed developments.
- Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and contract documents for tender and construction.
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with external agencies, utility providers, and contractors to facilitate project progress.
- Monitor project performance, manage budgets, and resolve technical challenges that arise during implementation.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- 3-7 years of experience in infrastructure design and project delivery.
- Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and relevant hydraulic/structural modeling tools.
- Solid understanding of UK infrastructure standards, planning processes, and environmental considerations.
- Strong project coordination and site supervision skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
