Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and preparation of civil engineering drawings and specifications for various infrastructure schemes.
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design plans.
• Perform calculations for drainage, earthworks, and road alignments.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities to facilitate project coordination and resolve technical queries.
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation discussions.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant UK building regulations and technical standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in a civil engineering role, preferably within infrastructure.
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and relevant civil engineering design principles.
• Knowledge of UK drainage design standards and highway design principles.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in both office and site environments.
• Driving license and willingness to travel to project sites within the Coventry area.
