Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze the structural elements of buildings and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with British Standards.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and technical specifications using industry-standard software.
• Conduct site visits for inspections, surveys, and to monitor construction progress.
• Liaise with architects, contractors, and other consultants to resolve design issues and ensure seamless project execution.
• Undertake structural health assessments and recommend appropriate remedial actions.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in structural design, preferably within a consultancy environment.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structural Designer) and AutoCAD.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant UK building regulations and design codes.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a hybrid team.
