£35,000 – £50,000
An employee-owned multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join its Cardiff or Bristol team. The role is suited to someone with between 1 and 5 years' experience, looking to broaden their technical skills across a varied project portfolio.

The Role
The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative civil engineering team, contributing to design and delivery across a mix of project types and scales. Responsibilities include:
Producing civil engineering designs, calculations, drawings and specifications Working on highways and drainage design across a range of schemes Developing designs using Civil 3D and other relevant software Preparing technical reports and supporting documentation Carrying out site visits, surveys and inspections Liaising with clients, contractors, highways authorities and other stakeholders Supporting senior engineers on larger, multi-phase projectsAbout You
An accredited Civil Engineering degree or equivalent Between 1 and 5 years' post-graduate experience, ideally within a consultancy Highways and drainage experience is ideal Familiarity with Autodesk Civil 3D; exposure to InfoDrainage or similar would be an advantage Working knowledge of relevant UK regulations, standards and design guidance Working toward professional membership (e.g. ICE) is desirable Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a teamWhat's on Offer
