Security Cleared Civil Engineer Permanent | Remote (UK) with occasional site visits | Defence & Security
Looking to use your civil engineering expertise on high-impact, long-term programmes-while keeping the flexibility of remote working? We're hiring a Security Cleared Civil Engineer to deliver civil design and site support across infrastructure and construction projects within the Defence & Security space.
You'll join a collaborative engineering environment where your work directly supports safe, compliant delivery from concept through construction, with exposure to meaningful, mission-led projects.
What you'll be doing
Deliver civil engineering design and site support for infrastructure / construction works Support project delivery through planning, design calculations, surveys, and site supervision Work closely with senior engineers, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to drive compliant, efficient outcomes Ensure engineering activities meet relevant regulations, standards, and safety requirements Communicate clearly with stakeholders and contribute to a high-quality, right-first-time culture
What we're looking for
Security Clearance (SC or above) is required Background in civil engineering design and site support Comfortable producing / checking design calculations and supporting technical surveys Strong awareness of construction safety and compliance Confident communicator; able to work effectively across teams and site stakeholders Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or closely related discipline)
