Key Responsibilities
- Undertake site surveys, levelling, and setting out using appropriate surveying equipment.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software according to engineering specifications.
- Assist in the production of design calculations, reports, and other project documentation.
- Monitor site works to ensure compliance with design drawings and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of survey data, drawings, and site progress reports.
Requirements
- An HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related technical qualification.
- Proven experience as a Civil Engineering Technician, with a good understanding of construction practices.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and surveying instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in our Norwich office.
