About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team in Bristol , focusing on urban development projects. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of essential infrastructure, including roads, sewers, and utilities, supporting the creation of new communities and regeneration schemes. This role offers the chance to work on diverse and impactful projects that shape the urban landscape of the South West. You will collaborate closely with planners, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design of site infrastructure including roads, pavements, foul and surface water drainage systems.
- Coordination with utility providers for the design and diversion of services.
- Production of technical drawings, calculations, and reports for planning submissions and construction.
- Undertaking Section 106 and Section 38/278 agreement processes.
- Liaising with clients, local authorities, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
- Site inspections and supervision during construction phases to ensure quality and compliance.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in civil infrastructure design for development projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Familiarity with highway design standards and drainage design principles.
- Experience with S38/278 and drainage design software is advantageous.
- Good project management and communication skills.
