About the Role
Our client is seeking a proficient Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their esteemed team in Bristol, South West England . This role focuses on the design and development of critical infrastructure projects, including transportation networks, water management systems, and site development for residential and commercial schemes. You will play an integral part in delivering sustainable and resilient infrastructure solutions, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop site infrastructure, including highways, drainage, foul water systems, and utility provisions.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports using industry-standard software.
- Undertake hydraulic modeling and analysis for drainage and flood risk assessments.
- Coordinate designs with other disciplines, clients, and regulatory bodies to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure all designs comply with current UK building regulations , environmental legislation, and planning policies.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase, including site inspections and responding to queries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in civil infrastructure design .
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant drainage design software (e.g., MicroDrainage).
- Strong understanding of highway design principles, earthworks, and SuDS.
- Familiarity with planning and construction procedures within the South West England region.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage project tasks effectively.
