Our client is seeking a diligent Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Norwich . This role is essential for the design and implementation of critical infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, and public realm developments. You will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies and concept design to detailed design and site supervision. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop infrastructure solutions, including road alignments, pavement design, and utility layouts.
- Conduct site assessments, surveys, and feasibility studies to inform project design.
- Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and contract documents.
- Liaise with local authorities, statutory undertakers, and clients to obtain necessary approvals and consents.
- Assist in managing project delivery, including monitoring progress, quality, and budget adherence.
- Ensure designs comply with all relevant national and local standards and regulations.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Experience in the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
- Good understanding of highway design principles, drainage, and utility coordination.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and stakeholder liaison.
- Ability to work on-site and in an office environment.
