About the Role

Our client is searching for an experienced Civil Infrastructure Project Engineer to join their growing team, with the flexibility of remote working , servicing projects primarily in the Norwich area and wider region. This role is vital for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of various infrastructure projects, including transportation networks, water systems, and land development. You will manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring technical excellence, adherence to budget, and timely delivery, all while working effectively in a distributed team environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong project management capabilities and a keen eye for detail in civil engineering applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the design and construction of civil infrastructure projects.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these parameters.
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality requirements.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate effective project communication and problem resolution.
• Perform site investigations and assessments to inform project designs and strategies.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil infrastructure project engineering or management.
• Proven experience in managing infrastructure projects, such as roads, utilities, or site developments.
• Proficiency in project management software and standard civil engineering design tools.
• Strong understanding of UK civil engineering standards and construction practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, suitable for remote management.
