Key Responsibilities

• Undertake the structural design and analysis of buildings, bridges, and other civil engineering structures.
• Develop detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications using industry-standard software.
• Coordinate design activities with architects, other engineering disciplines, and construction teams.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of design services.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve any structural issues that may arise.
• Ensure designs comply with all relevant UK building regulations, Eurocodes, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years' post-graduate experience in structural engineering design.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).
• Knowledge of concrete, steel, and masonry design principles.
• Experience in project management and client liaison.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
