Civil Project Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Civil Project Engineer to contribute to a range of exciting infrastructure and development projects, based remotely. This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of project management principles and civil engineering practices, capable of coordinating effectively with site teams and stakeholders from a distance. You will be responsible for the technical aspects of project delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the technical aspects of civil engineering projects, from initial planning through to project completion.
• Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure project objectives are met.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Review and approve project designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
• Prepare progress reports and conduct virtual project review meetings.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project delivery.
• Demonstrated experience in project coordination and management.
• Proficiency in project management software and standard civil engineering design tools.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and site supervision principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to manage remote teams effectively.
