About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Civil Structural Engineer to join their busy team in Nottingham , focusing on the design of building structures. Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural elements for various building types, including foundations, beams, columns, and slabs.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations using industry-standard software.
• Ensure all structural designs comply with current Building Regulations, British Standards, and Eurocodes.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other design team members to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any structural issues that may arise.
• Provide technical advice and solutions for structural challenges during project lifecycles.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural design for building structures.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, Tekla Structural Designer, Revit Structure).
• Solid knowledge of materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, and timber.
• Good understanding of construction processes and site practices in Nottingham .
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
