Key Responsibilities

• Investigate and assess property damage claims resulting from incidents like fire, flood, or burglary.
• Conduct thorough site inspections, document evidence, and obtain necessary reports and statements.
• Determine coverage under the relevant policy terms and conditions, and calculate fair settlement amounts.
• Negotiate settlements with policyholders, contractors, and other relevant parties.
• Manage a caseload of claims efficiently, ensuring timely resolution and accurate record-keeping.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders throughout the claims process.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Claims Adjuster or similar role, with a focus on property insurance .
• Strong understanding of building construction, repair methods, and associated costs.
• Excellent investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in claim management software and accurate record-keeping.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities, with a customer-centric approach.
• Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., Cert CILA) are highly advantageous.
