The Best Connection are recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for ongoing work with a well-established automotive logistics operation based in Hellaby, Rotherham .

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular weekly shifts, ad hoc work or additional hours , with the flexibility to work around other commitments.

The role involves night trunking of automotive parts to RDCs across the UK , using double-deck vehicles. Long-distance routes and overnight work will be involved.

The Role

Night trunking of automotive parts to RDCs nationwide

Operating Class 1 (C+E) double-deck vehicles

Double-manned long-distance runs

Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely

Completing required paperwork and vehicle checks

Following drivers' hours and transport legislation

Working as part of a professional driving team

Shifts

£17.00 per hour

Night shifts

Start times between 20:00 and 00:00

Sunday to Saturday availability

Ongoing weekly work available

Suitable for drivers looking for additional or regular work

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence

Valid Driver CPC

Valid Digital Tachograph Card

Minimum 1 year's Class 1 driving experience

Double-deck experience preferred

Comfortable working night shifts and overnight routes

Reliable, punctual and professional

Able to work effectively as part of a double-manned team
