Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 1 HGV vehicle safely and efficiently for long-distance deliveries and collections.
• Adhere to all tachograph regulations and working time directives.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues.
• Ensure all loads are safely secured and are delivered in good condition.
• Maintain clear communication with the transport office regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients at delivery and collection points.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 HGV driving license (C+E).
• Up-to-date Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digi-Tacho card.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience driving Class 1 vehicles.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your driving license.
• Understanding of basic vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
