About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Class 1 Trunking Driver to join their established operation in Sheffield . You will be responsible for the transportation of goods between distribution centres and hubs, operating on set routes with minimal interaction. This role requires a professional driver who is self-motivated, adheres strictly to driving regulations, and maintains the highest standards of vehicle safety and care. Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles for trunking operations.
• Ensure safe and efficient transport of goods between specified locations.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after shifts.
• Adhere to all Working Time Directive regulations and tachograph requirements.
• Maintain clear communication with the dispatch team.
• Keep the vehicle clean and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) driving license.
• Full Driver CPC and Digi-tacho card.
• Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience.
• Clean driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively on trunking routes.
• Strong understanding of logistics and transport regulations.
