About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled and dependable Class 2 Delivery Driver to serve the Portsmouth area. This role is crucial for delivering goods directly to customers and businesses, ensuring a positive and professional brand representation. You will be responsible for managing your own delivery route, interacting directly with clients, and ensuring the safe and timely arrival of products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local area and a commitment to providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Class 2 (Cat C) delivery vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Conducting pre-drive vehicle inspections and reporting any maintenance needs.
• Delivering goods to customers' premises, ensuring correct items and quantities are dispatched.
• Providing excellent customer service, including clear communication and assistance with unloading.
• Accurately completing delivery notes and any required paperwork.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) driving license .
• Current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC ) card.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• Proven experience in multi-drop delivery driving.
• Good knowledge of the Portsmouth and surrounding Hampshire areas.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual loading and unloading.
