Class 2 Delivery Driver

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dependable Class 2 Delivery Driver to join their team in Plymouth . You will be responsible for delivering goods to commercial and domestic customers, operating a Class 2 vehicle with professionalism and care. This role is fundamental to ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of the local area, a commitment to safety, and a positive attitude, contributing to the efficient distribution network based in Plymouth .

Key Responsibilities

• Perform multi-drop deliveries using a Class 2 vehicle.
• Ensure goods are delivered safely, securely, and on time.
• Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any maintenance needs.
• Accurately complete all delivery paperwork and obtain signatures.
• Provide excellent customer service to all clients encountered.
• Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle interior and exterior.

Requirements

• Valid UK Class 2 (Cat C) driving license .
• Valid Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card.
• Proven experience as a Class 2 driver.
• Good knowledge of the Plymouth and surrounding areas.
• Excellent driving record.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
