Class 2 Driver

HGV Class 2 Driver | 16.00 - 21.75 per Hour

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. This is a varied role that combines driving duties with supporting engineers on site, making it ideal for drivers who enjoy being part of a team and working outdoors.

The Role

• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle between sites.
• Provide general support to engineers carrying out essential works.
• Regularly check on engineers working below ground level to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
• Assist with site set-up, maintenance and other reasonable duties as required.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday.
• Occasional weekend work when required.
• Average working day of approximately 11 hours, depending on workload and site locations.

Pay & Benefits

• 16.00 - 21.75 per hour

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence .
• Valid Driver CPC .
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card .
• Essential: Experience driving vehicle fitted with a 4-over-4 manual gearbox .
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Willingness to support engineers and assist with site duties when required.
