Class 2 Driver

Freeway Recruitment are looking to register Class 2 Drivers;

Role: Class 2 (Cat C)

Shifts - Days and Nights Out

Description:

Freeway are looking for HGV C Class 2 Drivers to work for our client located in Leeds.

Class 2 drivers will be required to deliver high quality home furnishing goods to a national client base.

Work involves handballing of goods

Day work and 1 to 2 Nights out per week – National, South, North, Scotland

The work is generally ongoing once a driver has settled into the client and understands the remit of the role including all Health & Safety aspects.

Requirements:

• Be competent and able to follow Health & Safety practises and procedures at all time
• Be reliable and hold excellent time keeping
• Hold a flexible ‘can do’ attitude to your work
• Good command of English both written and spoken
• Keep vehicle is kept clean and tidy at all times
• Have excellent geographic knowledge of UK road network
• Have a positive attitude and a professional work ethic
• Smart appearance, as you will be representing Freeway Recruitment & our client
• check in transport before parking up for the night.

Qualifications / training / experience:

You must be able to provide the following.

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid Digital tachograph card
• Valid Driver CPC card
• Have No more than 6 current points on licence for separate 3pt offences (No DR/DD/IN Driving offences accepted)
• 12 Month Class 2 experience required due to insurance restrictions

Pay

Pay rates vary by client - £15.00ph per hour (Holiday’s accrued) £16.81 (Holiday’s Paid out)
