Job Description
Class 2 drivers needed in Northampton What does the job involve?
- Delivering healthcare products to hospitals, clinics and patients' homes
- Up to 11 deliveries per day across the UK, including London
- This is a handball role and may involve delivering products directly to hospital departments, clinics or customers' rooms
- Safe unloading of products using pump trucks and Material Handling Equipment, including Climb Stackers and Linde equipment
- Full training will be provided on all MHE equipment
- Completing delivery paperwork and PODs
- Following all healthcare, safety and GDP requirements Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Start times between 04:00 and 06:00
- Basic: 42 hours per week
- Over time: paid at basic rate for first 6 hours, Premium 1 kicks in from 48 hours
- Premium 1 is paid up until midday Saturday, then the premium 2 rate is applied
- Premium 2 rate all day Sunday
- Unsociable rate: applies between the hours of 2000 and 0600 Vehicles
- Drivers may be required to operate 3.5T, 7.5T, 12T and 18T vehicles, depending on the route assigned. What are we looking for?
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 penalty points
- Good attitude, reliability and attention to detail
- Comfortable with a physically active role Additional Information
