Job Description
Role : Class 2 HIAB Driver
Salary : £19.05 per hour Weekly Pay (£17.00ph with accrued holiday pay)
Location : South Manchester
Work Pattern : Full time, Monday - Friday (expected minimum 40 hours per week)
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic HGV 2 Class 2 HIAB Driver for a large well know timber merchant to deliver to business and residential customers in and around the north west.
Class 2 HIAB Driver responsibilities
- Securing loads, understanding height restrictions and legal height limits
- 5-6 drops per day, using HIAB Lorry Loader
- Driving vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws
- Daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance
- Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress
- Completing paperwork accurately as instructed
Class 2 HIAB Driver requirements
- Experienced HIAB Operator Certificate with REMOTE
- Cat C Licence (Category C - Class 2)
- HIAB Certificate - Class 2 HIAB Driver
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, IN's, TT's)
- Full UK Driving licence, held for minimum 1 year
- Able to work to tight deadlines
