Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and professional Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver to join their distribution team operating out of Wolverhampton . This role involves delivering a variety of goods to multiple customer sites daily, requiring efficient route management and excellent driving ability. You will be responsible for the safe loading, transit, and unloading of products, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction at each stop. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a good understanding of vehicle operation and road safety, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle safely and efficiently for multi-drop deliveries.
• Load and unload goods at various customer premises, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
• Adhere to strict delivery schedules and manage time effectively across multiple stops.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks, including pre-trip inspections and reporting any defects.
• Maintain accurate delivery notes and records, including proof of delivery.
• Comply with all tachograph regulations and working time directives.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
• Current Driver CPC qualification card and Digi Tachograph card.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience driving Class 2 vehicles.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your license; no major driving convictions.
• Good geographical knowledge of the Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.
• Ability to handle physical aspects of the role, including loading and unloading.
