Siamo Recruitment are currently recruiting for Class 2 Refuse Drivers / Loaders to join a local council refuse collection team on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Class 2 driver who is looking for consistent work, a 4-day working week and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

You will be working as part of a refuse collection team, operating a Class 2 bin lorry and assisting with residential refuse collections.

The role will involve:

Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle Carrying out residential waste collections Working as part of a small team Loading and emptying bins Following designated collection routes Carrying out daily vehicle checks Working safely and following council procedures Providing a professional and reliable service to local residentsWhat we are looking for: Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence CPC and Digi Tacho Previous Class 2 driving experience Reliable and punctual Good team player Good understanding of health & safety One of the biggest advantages of this role is that you are paid for the full 39 hours even if the day's collections are completed early — giving you the benefit of a 4-day working week without losing your contracted hours.
