Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Classic Car Technician in Woking, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled motor trade professional with experience in vintage vehicle restoration.

Duties of a Classic Car Technician:
- Conducting detailed restoration work on classic and vintage cars, including fabricating, welding, and full ground-up restorations
- Rebuilding suspensions, carburettors, and other mechanical components
- Performing full vehicle reconstructions rather than simple bolt-on tasks
- Applying craftsmanship and precision to deliver high-quality restorations
- Supporting the workshop team with technical knowledge and skills
- Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards
Requirements of a Classic Car Technician:
- Proven experience as a motor engineer, with a minimum of 5 years within a workshop environment
- Extensive knowledge in classic car restoration, including carburettor and suspension rebuilds
- Skilled in fabricating, welding, and performing detailed mechanical restorations
- Passionate about vintage and classic vehicles with a keen eye for quality
- Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and capable of working independently or within a team
- Strong commitment to craftsmanship and safety standards
