Our Water Team in Scotland are delivering a diverse and high‑impact portfolio of projects that are shaping sustainable and resilient water systems for generations to come. One of our most recent wins includes Scottish Water’s SR27 Enterprise . AECOM has been named preferred bidder for one of two Primary Designers on this transformational, multi‑billion‑pound programme. It is the highest value venture ever put into place by Scottish Water and will reshape Scotland’s water and wastewater infrastructure from 2027 to 2033 (with potential to extend for another 6 years).

AECOM will be at the heart of this ground‑breaking delivery model, shaping design excellence at scale and working with Scottish Water and our Enterprise Partners to help drive outcomes that deliver value for customers in Scotland and go beyond net zero. This is a major win for AECOM and a powerful endorsement of our expertise, giving us a fantastic opportunity to deliver long‑term, meaningful work that has large‑scale impact for communities across Scotland. Here’s what you’ll do:

• Delivering output on a wide range of modelling projects including model build & calibration, model maintenance, optioneering and growth studies
• Collaborating with AECOM’s multi‑disciplinary teams to develop design solutions through optioneering
• Preparing Health & Safety Risk Assessments documentation
• Supporting the team to efficiently manage project workload and deadlines demand
• Undertaking a technical mentoring role for more junior members of staff
• Producing reports and technical documents.
