CLEANER & CARETAKER - Cambridge
PPM Recruitment are currently recruiting for X1 Cleaner and X1 Caretaker
Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm Pay: £14.24 per hour including holiday pay Temporary to Permanent - the roles will become permanent following a successful probation period which is 13 to 15 weeks
Job 1: Cleaner
We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and hardworking Cleaner to join our team.
Requirements
Previous cleaning experience is essential Good timekeeping and attendance Reliable and trustworthy Friendly and personable when working around members of the public and customers Must be happy to travel to CambridgeDuties will include:
Cleaning and maintaining assigned areas to a high standard Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors Cleaning toilets, kitchens and communal areas Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly Dusting and wiping down surfaces Replenishing cleaning products and consumables when required Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or hazards Following health & safety and cleaning procedures Working professionally around members of the public and customers
Job 2: Caretaker
We are also looking for a reliable Caretaker with a full UK driving licence.
The successful candidate will need to be practical, dependable and comfortable working independently while maintaining high standards.
Requirements
Previous caretaker, maintenance or similar experience preferred Full UK Clean Driving Licence is essential Reliable and punctual Friendly and professional approach Comfortable working around the public and customers Must be happy to travel to CambridgeDuties will include:
General caretaking and upkeep of the site Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs Ensuring buildings, facilities and surrounding areas are kept clean, safe and presentable Carrying out regular checks of the site and reporting any issues Moving equipment, furniture and materials when required Supporting contractors and visitors on site Reporting faults, damage and health & safety concerns Assisting with cleaning and general duties when required Ensuring the site is secure and maintained to a high standard Working professionally around customers and members of the public
