Job Description
As Cleaning Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the delivery of the Cleaning Service for our client in Tameside in line with KPIs.
- Working closely with school site managers
- Managing cleaning services across 8 schools
- Managing cleaning staff and supervisors, training compliance and rotas
- Supporting catering administration as required
- Allocation of work, quality control and audits
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and COSHH
- Maintaining site cleanliness standards
- Delivering toolbox talks, payroll timesheets and H&S documentation
- Handling HR and Recruitment needs as relevant with support from HR and Recruitment teams
- Responding to helpdesk instructions
- Supporting budget and stock control
- Cover emergency situations - hands on approach with supporting cleaners and supervisors. Previous experience as a Cleaning Manager across multiple sites
- PFI experience desirable
- Education sector experience desirable
- Methodical approach
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Good Health & Safety knowledge (IOSH desirable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
The successful candidate will require an Enhanced DBS with Child Barred List Check before starting in the job.,
