Cleaning Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced Cleaning Operations Manager to oversee and optimize cleaning services for multiple sites in and around Leeds . This leadership role is responsible for managing cleaning teams, ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, and fostering strong client relationships. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance service delivery, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. This is a key position for driving excellence in facility hygiene and management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, motivate, and develop cleaning teams across multiple client locations in the Leeds area.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to ensure consistent high-quality cleaning services.
• Oversee budget management, including cost control for labour, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including COSHH and risk assessments.
• Conduct regular site visits and performance reviews to maintain service standards and client satisfaction.
• Procure and manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effectiveness and availability.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a cleaning management or operational management role.
• Strong understanding of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and sanitation best practices .
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in health and safety legislation and its application in the workplace.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in the West Yorkshire region.
