About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations and teams within various facilities in Plymouth . This leadership role involves managing daily cleaning schedules, ensuring quality standards are met, and supervising a team of cleaning staff. The role requires a blend of hands-on cleaning knowledge and effective team management skills, with opportunities for remote coordination of resources and scheduling. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of cleaning staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Train new staff members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
• Manage cleaning supplies, inventory, and equipment maintenance, including remote ordering processes.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry.
• Solid understanding of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards (e.g., COSHH).
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both in-person and for remote coordination.
