* Location: Redcar / Teesside
* Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour PAYE
* Hours: 7:00am – 5:00pm
* Duration: Minimum 2-year project, with the potential to continue longer
* Employment: Directly employed by Munnelly Support Services
Job Description
Munnelly Support Services is looking for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join a major long-term construction project in the Redcar / Teesside area.
You will work closely with the Cleaning Manager and help supervise a team of approximately 20 cleaners working various hours across seven site blocks, with further areas expected to be added as the project develops.
A free minibus service is available to transport staff between different areas of the site.
Duties
* Supervising and supporting approximately 20 cleaners across the project
* Allocating daily cleaning duties and ensuring all areas are properly covered
* Carrying out regular inspections across the site blocks
* Ensuring cleaning standards are maintained throughout the day
* Monitoring attendance, punctuality and staff performance
* Supporting the Cleaning Manager with rotas and daily planning
* Reporting any issues, shortages or maintenance concerns
* Ensuring cleaning products and equipment are available and used correctly
* Delivering briefings and making sure cleaners follow site procedures
* Ensuring all health and safety requirements are followed
Requirements
* Previous experience supervising a cleaning team
* Experience working on a construction site or large commercial project is preferred
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Confident managing staff working different hours and shifts
* Reliable, professional and able to work independently
* Ability to travel to the Redcar / Teesside area
