About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaning Team Leader to manage and guide a cleaning team in Cambridge . You will be responsible for supervising staff, monitoring work quality, managing supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of cleaning operatives to achieve high performance standards.
• Develop and oversee daily work schedules and task assignments for the cleaning team.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality of work and adherence to cleaning protocols.
• Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, including inventory tracking and ordering.
• Act as a point of contact for site managers regarding cleaning needs and issues.
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed by the team and within the work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory role or as a team leader.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures and safe handling of cleaning agents.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
