About the Role

Our client, a leading wellness centre, is seeking a qualified Clinical Aromatherapist and Massage Therapist to join their team on a contractor basis, serving clients remotely and/or in person as needed in the Nottingham area. This role focuses on using the therapeutic properties of essential oils combined with advanced massage techniques to address a range of client health and well-being concerns. You will work closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans, providing holistic care that supports physical, emotional, and mental balance, contributing to a practice that emphasizes natural healing and client-centered wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct client consultations to assess health status, identify specific needs, and determine appropriate aromatherapy and massage protocols.
• Formulate bespoke essential oil blends tailored to individual client requirements for massage or diffusion.
• Perform a variety of therapeutic massage techniques alongside aromatherapy application.
• Educate clients on the benefits of aromatherapy and massage, and provide guidance on home-care practices.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client records, documenting treatments and progress.
• Adhere to professional standards of practice, ethics, and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Professional certification in Clinical Aromatherapy from a recognized institution.
• Qualified Massage Therapist with demonstrable experience in various modalities.
• Solid understanding of essential oil properties, contraindications, and safe application.
• Excellent client assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage scheduling efficiently.
• Familiarity with remote consultation tools and practices relevant to the Nottingham area.
