Clinical Data Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and organized Clinical Data Manager to join their clinical operations department in Reading . This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of clinical trial data, which is fundamental to the success of pharmaceutical research and development. You will oversee the collection, cleaning, and management of data from clinical studies, working closely with various stakeholders to maintain high data quality standards. This position offers a significant opportunity to contribute to pivotal drug development projects within a well-respected pharmaceutical organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage clinical data management plans (DMPs) and study databases.
• Oversee the design and execution of data collection tools, including Case Report Forms (CRFs) and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
• Perform data cleaning activities, including query generation and resolution.
• Ensure compliance with data management standards, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., CDISC).
• Collaborate with biostatisticians, clinical research associates, and investigators to ensure data quality.
• Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for clinical databases and EDC systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or healthcare discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
• Proficiency with clinical data management software and EDC systems (e.g., Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical).
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, data standards (e.g., CDISC SDTM), and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, coordinating effectively with teams in Reading and remotely.
