Clinical Data Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Clinical Data Manager to join their remote-based clinical operations team, servicing studies impacting patients in Brighton and globally. This role is fundamental to ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and quality of clinical trial data, which is critical for regulatory submissions and therapeutic development. You will be responsible for database design, data validation, and overall data management oversight throughout the clinical trial lifecycle. This position offers the flexibility of remote work combined with the satisfaction of contributing to vital pharmaceutical research that could bring new treatments to market.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of clinical databases (e.g., EDC systems).
• Develop and implement data management plans and data validation specifications.
• Perform data review and reconciliation activities, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Manage data cleaning activities and resolve data queries in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines and relevant data privacy regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
• Proficiency with Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems (e.g., Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical).
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
