You’ll build and manage a diverse clinical caseload, working autonomously while being supported by a strong local leadership team. You’ll champion clinical excellence, mentor our care teams, and help drive continuous improvement across our paediatric complex care offering.

About the role

Package & Benefits

• £ 38k to £40k dependent on experience

• Core Office Hours 9am -5pm Mon – Fri (Flexibility Possible)

• 40p per mile mileage reimbursement

• Permanent, full‑time position

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex paediatric care packages, including assessments, care planning, clinical reviews, and risk assessments

• Provide clinical leadership through training and supervision, competency assessments, mentorship, and ongoing support for care teams

• Strengthen clinical governance through medication audits, spot checks, investigations, and quality improvement initiatives

• Work collaboratively with families, commissioners, and multidisciplinary professionals

• Deliver specialist clinical training and provide emergency clinical support when required

About You

• Registered Paediatric Nurse with suitable paediatric experience and a valid NMC registration.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in paediatric care (e.g., tracheostomy, ventilation, spinal injuries, neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries)

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Mansfield, Ashfield, and surrounding areas
