Details Title: Clinical Nurse Consultant - Palliative Care Opening date: 3 Mar 2026 Closing date: 2 Apr 2026 Position Type: Permanent, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *hours can be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $118,297 to $125,543 per annum employer 12% superannuation contribution. Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. The Position As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will provide leadership within the team in supporting palliative clients in a variety of locations, including home visits to patients and their families, assessing conditions and needs for supports and reporting back to the specialist team. Working collaboratively with the wider team, you will ensure timely response to requests for support and assess response to interventions. You Will Need Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse. Current Driver’s Licence. Holds or is working towards relevant post graduate tertiary qualifications (desirable). Excellence in communication across a variety of professional and client settings. Experience and understanding of the palliative approach to care. Demonstrated understanding of a collaborative consultative approach to care across the acute and primary health settings working with THS and NGO's to ensure comprehensive care supporting palliative patients.
