Our dispensing service is fully outsourced, freeing you from dispensary commitments and allowing you to focus on clinical practice. In addition, on-call responsibilities are managed remotely, offering greater flexibility and work–life balance.
Role highlights:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-focused clinical pharmacy services
- Undertake medicines reconciliation, reuse checks, and ordering
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medicines use
- Support specialist areas includingperinatal mental health(Mother& Baby Unit),CAMHsinpatient services,low secure forensic units& MHIST (mental health intensive support team)
- Contribute to service development, audit,teachingand quality improvement
- Opportunities to develop clinicalexpertiseand leadership skills
The post holder will contribute to the planning and delivery of specialist mental health clinical pharmacy services as part of the CWP pharmacy team. This will include working as a member of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that pharmaceutical care needs of patients are met, ensuring that medicines management standards are upheld in all areas of the trust and providing education on safe and effective use of medication to medical and nursing staff, patients and carers. The post holder will provide professional support and supervision to pre-registration and student pharmacists.
Cheshire and Wirral Partnership (CWP) provides health and care services for a population of over one million people, including mental health, learning disability, community physical health and all-age disability care, as well as the provision of three GP surgeries in Cheshire.
We employ around 4,500 staff across 73 sites and have services across Wirral and Cheshire, as well as Trafford, Warrington, Bolton, Halton, Liverpool and Stockport.
