Clinical Psychologist/Forensic Psychologist/Counselling Psychologist

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to develop your clinical skills and trauma-informed practice? The North London Forensic Service is recruiting Clinical or Forensic Psychologists to join us.

We have funding for a full-time WTE Band 7 Psychologists. Flexible working is available; the primary base will be at Chase Farm Hospital, Enfield, and Avesbury House in Edmonton.

We need an enthusiastic professional to provide psychological input within the medium and low secure pathways, supporting the forensic service that covers inpatients (Medium, Low, and Learning Disability wards) as well as community services across five boroughs (Enfield, Barnet, Haringey, Islington, and Camden).

The successful candidate will support the provision of psychological interventions within a multidisciplinary team, leading on the delivery of psychology within the team. This includes highly specialist and expert psychological assessment, interventions, supervision, training, and reflective practice for psychology staff and other clinicians.

The post holder will provide assessments and interventions, undertake direct clinical work, and provide consultation and training to colleagues and other professionals. Supervision of junior psychological staff is also a key part of the role.

In certain circumstances you may be required to work at different locations within the boroughs of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Haringey, or Islington. The Trust reserves the right to require staff to work at other locations as necessary on a temporary or permanent basis.
