About the Role
Our client, a prominent player in the pharmaceutical sector , is seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their dynamic team in Newcastle upon Tyne . This vital role will involve managing and monitoring clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocols, regulatory requirements, and good clinical practice (GCP). You will be instrumental in the successful execution of studies, contributing directly to the development of new medicines. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits (initiation, interim, and close-out) to assess trial progress and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Monitor data accuracy and completeness, verifying source data against case report forms (CRFs).
- Ensure investigational sites adhere to the study protocol, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) , and all applicable regulations.
- Train and support site staff on trial procedures, study requirements, and regulatory documentation.
- Resolve data queries and address any issues identified during site monitoring in Newcastle upon Tyne .
- Prepare and present monitoring visit reports to project management and relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Clinical Research Associate , with a strong understanding of clinical trial phases and processes.
- In-depth knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements in the UK and EU.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively liaise with clinical sites and internal teams in Newcastle upon Tyne .
- Willingness to travel extensively to assigned clinical sites across the region.
