Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to support their vital clinical trial activities across the UK, with a focus on the Milton Keynes area and surrounding regions. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of clinical trial data and for monitoring compliance with study protocols and regulatory standards. You will work closely with investigative sites, ensuring patient safety and adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure adherence to protocols, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform site initiation, routine monitoring, and close-out visits.
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and quality of clinical data through source data verification.
• Ensure patient safety and the rights of trial participants are protected.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with investigators, site staff, and study teams.
• Prepare monitoring reports and escalate any issues or findings to the clinical operations manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) or in a similar clinical trial monitoring role.
• Thorough understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Excellent monitoring skills, including source data verification and query resolution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport easily.
• Proficiency in clinical trial management systems (CTMS) and electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
