Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a meticulous and dedicated Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their esteemed clinical operations team based in Coventry . This role is crucial for overseeing and managing the execution of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to study protocols, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. The CRA will be a key liaison between investigative sites, sponsors, and regulatory authorities, playing an integral part in the successful progression of clinical research programs aimed at bringing vital new medicines to patients. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure data accuracy, protocol compliance, and patient safety.
• Conduct site initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out visits according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Verify source data and ensure it matches the information reported in case report forms (CRFs).
• Train and support site staff on study protocols, regulatory requirements, and data collection procedures.
• Prepare and submit monitoring reports, action items, and follow-up with sites on resolution.
• Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and relevant regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate or in a similar clinical trial monitoring role.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to clinical trial sites as required within the Coventry region and potentially beyond.
