Clinical Research Associate (CRA)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their dynamic clinical operations team based near Birmingham . This critical role involves ensuring the proper conduct of clinical trials in accordance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. You will be responsible for monitoring study sites, verifying data integrity, and supporting investigators to ensure patient safety and data accuracy across various therapeutic areas. Key Responsibilities

• Perform site selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits for clinical trial sites.
• Ensure adherence to study protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA, MHRA).
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of clinical data reported by study sites.
• Act as a liaison between the sponsor, investigators, and study staff, providing training and support.
• Monitor patient safety and report adverse events according to protocol and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage study supplies, including Investigational Product, and ensure proper documentation is maintained.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Clinical Research Associate , with a strong understanding of clinical trial phases and processes.
• In-depth knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements for clinical research in the UK .
• Excellent monitoring skills, with the ability to identify and resolve site issues effectively.
• Proficiency in clinical data management systems and electronic data capture (EDC) tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to travel to study sites.
