About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Associate II to support their ongoing clinical trials in Birmingham . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and compliant execution of studies, monitoring sites, and collecting high-quality data that adheres to regulatory standards and protocol requirements. You will work closely with investigators, site staff, and internal project teams to manage study timelines and deliverables. This is a fantastic opportunity for a mid-level CRA looking to expand their experience within a leading pharmaceutical organization, contributing to the development of vital new therapies, and operating within a supportive team structure that values accuracy and efficiency in clinical operations in the West Midlands region.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure adherence to protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory guidelines.
- Conduct site initiation visits, routine monitoring visits, and close-out visits, verifying data accuracy and completeness.
- Manage communication between study sites, the sponsor, and investigational review boards.
- Ensure timely collection, review, and reconciliation of study-related data and documentation.
- Identify and resolve issues at clinical sites, escalating critical matters as necessary to project management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate.
- Thorough understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
- Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
