About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and motivated Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their expanding pharmaceutical research division in Manchester . In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing and managing clinical trials, ensuring adherence to study protocols, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements. You will work remotely, interacting with investigative sites across the UK to ensure the quality, integrity, and timely completion of data. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the development of new pharmaceutical treatments and build a rewarding career in clinical research within the Greater Manchester region.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure compliance with protocols, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
- Perform site initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out visits.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of clinical data, ensuring data integrity.
- Train and support site staff on study procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, track, and resolve site issues and deviations.
- Prepare monitoring reports and communicate findings to project management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Clinical Research Associate or equivalent role.
- Thorough understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
- Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively.
