Clinical Research Associate - Phase II/III Trials

About the Role

Our client seeks an experienced and meticulous Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to join their expanding clinical operations team based in Birmingham . You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of Phase II and III clinical trials, ensuring adherence to protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines. This position requires extensive travel to investigator sites across the UK to monitor study conduct, data integrity, and patient safety. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits in accordance with the clinical monitoring plan and GCP .
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of clinical data through source data verification (SDV).
• Ensure investigational product accountability and adherence to protocol requirements at clinical sites.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clinical investigators and site staff.
• Identify, report, and escalate any potential risks, issues, or protocol deviations to the clinical study team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate conducting site monitoring.
• Thorough understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements for clinical trials.
• Demonstrated experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail.
