Clinical Research Associate

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Clinical Research Associate to support their clinical trials in Newcastle upon Tyne . This hybrid role offers a balance between remote work flexibility and essential on-site responsibilities, allowing you to contribute to vital research efforts. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of clinical studies, adhering to regulatory standards and company protocols. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor clinical trial sites to ensure compliance with protocols, regulations, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
• Verify the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of clinical data collected at study sites.
• Manage site communications, provide training to site staff, and resolve issues promptly.
• Conduct site initiation, interim monitoring, and close-out visits as required.
• Prepare monitoring reports and ensure timely submission of all required documentation.
• Contribute to the development of study-related documents and protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate or in a similar clinical trial monitoring role.
• Thorough understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with electronic data capture (EDC) systems and clinical trial management systems (CTMS).
• Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to clinical sites as needed.
